Candle care
Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Keep them out of reach of children and pets. Keep candles away from drafts, which can cause uneven burning and excessive smoking. Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps prevent soot and ensures a clean, even burn. Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame instead of blowing out or using water. This prevents hot wax from splashing. Store candles in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing them to high temperatures, which can cause warping or melting. If wax drips onto a surface, allow it to cool first and gently remove it.
