Burn it well

Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. Because of its rounded pumpkin shape, always place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface so it sits level. On the first burn, give it enough time to let the wax pool reach close to the outer edges — this protects the shape as it burns down. Keep it away from draughts and never leave it unattended while lit.
