Built differently from the start

Most pillar candles are poured and forgotten. The Ribb is shaped with deliberate attention — the ribbed texture requires precision at the moulding stage, which is why it is made in Germany in controlled small batches rather than mass produced. The result is a surface that feels as considered as it looks, with edges that stay crisp and defined.

To keep it burning beautifully

Trim the wick to 5mm before every single burn — this is non-negotiable for a ribbed candle, as a long wick produces more heat and can cause the sides to soften unevenly. The first burn should be long enough to allow the wax to pool across the full diameter. Position it away from open windows and air movement to protect the clean ribbed silhouette as it burns down.
